Dental School Rotations in Five Michigan Communities

Description:
Five community health centers signed with University of Michigan Dental School to rotate dental students, dental hygiene students and dental residents into their centers to treat Medicaid beneficiaries. In FY 2000-2001, 146 students rotated through the centers treating an additional 8,600 Medicaid clients. All five centers hired dentists who rotated through the program.
