Description:
The CSU has offered quarterly nutrition education classes for diabetics and family members of diabetics for the past 3.5 years. The primary objective of the program is to offer healthy life style choices that will help the individual maintain control of his/her diabetes and reduce complications.

Blood sugars are checked, a meal preparation demonstration is given, nutrition information provided, and opportunity for questions and sharing among the participants.
