This service is free and confidential.

The Colorado River Service Unit (CRSU) serves nearly 13,000 members in the tribal communities of Parker, AZ; Peach Springs, AZ; Supai, AZ; Havasu Lake, CA; and Moapa, NV. CRSU is headquartered at Parker Indian Health Center in Parker, AZ. Our facilities are accredited through The Joint Commission. Examples of services provided at each facility are listed below. Patients requiring inpatient surgical procedures and complex medical care are referred to Phoenix Indian Medical Center or contract-care hospitals.

All facilities are closed on federal holidays (with the exception of the Emergency Department at Parker Indian Health Center, which is open 24/7).

About Parker Indian Health Center (PIHC): This 17-bed Critical Access Hospital provides the American Indian/Alaskan Native community with general medical services. Specialty outpatient services are provided on-site by IHS or off-site referrals. PIHC serves approximately 7,850 patients.

About Supai Health Station (SHS): This is an ambulatory health station located at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It is accessible only by helicopter, mule, or on foot. The facility is staffed by one physician. Due to isolation, transportation and communication remain important health care issues for the Havasupai community. SHS operates on an appointment system including walk-in availability and serves approximately 1,110 patients.
