The third session will cover how oral health professionals and public health dental practitioners must make fact-based, data driven and scientifically reasoned choices. Participants will be provided with an overview of epidemiology. Recommendations for finding reliable and valid data relevant to oral health will be covered and examples of epidemiological applications in oral health and public health dentistry will be discussed.
