Summary:

OPEN TO ALBUQUERQUE AND NASHVILLE AREA ONLY

The purpose of this presentation is to provide the audience – IHS and tribal dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants in the 50 clinics of the Albuquerque & Nashville Area Indian Health Service – with information about silver ion antimicrobials and specifically about the protocol developed for the FDA-approved silver diamine fluoride.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the indications for using silver ion antimicrobials;
2. Describe the protocol for applying silver diamine fluoride;
3. Describe how to evaluate the efficacy of silver ion antimicrobials.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
