Summary: This webinar is based on an article by Lucas Bishop titled “Breaking Down the Skills Gap: Tribal Knowledge”. Students have been reviewing the article and the group will discuss what kinds of Tribal/organizational knowledge is leaving their programs and how they can capture that knowledge, hopefully coupling the historical experts with the inexperienced members in their clinic staff.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.   Identify who has the bulk of organizational knowledge and what specific expertise should be captured and passed on.
2.   Identify which staff and what professions [DDS, RDH, Das, etc.] lack adequate organizational knowledge to deal with common and urgent issues.
3.   Develop some opportunities and possible practices to capture knowledge and share expertise among staff.
