Summary:

Title: Managing in a VUCA [Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity] World.
Course Summary: The world is experiencing ever-increasing change and managers need to understand these conditions and how to navigate them. The term VUCA was coined by the US Military in the early 90s and is now taking hold across professions. Understanding VUCA is critical to managing in this new COVID world.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
Learning Obj. 1- Understand the definitions of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity and why they exist in today’s environment.
Learning Obj. 2- Describe Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity situations in your present clinic management setting.
Learning Obj. 3- Identify strategies for preparing oneself for the changes that Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity bring.

Prerequisites:

This course is open to dental directors who have completed Concepts I & II only. Conference Call/Webinar information will be distributed to eligible dental directors by the course directors.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
