Description: This session will cover the basics of CGM, why it’s helpful for people with diabetes [PWD], and provide resources and action items for healthcare professionals to take to their practice. It will highlight how to integrate CGM into practice, and how to read CGM metrics. Featuring new resources from the Time in Range Coalition, participants will leave the presentation equipped, prepared, and empowered to start using CGM with the people in their care. Objectives and Outcomes: As a result of completing this training, the healthcare team will be able to:1.Analyze how continuous glucose monitoring [CGM] metrics, such as Time in Range and glucose variability, are applied to manage and improve health outcomes for individuals with type 2 diabetes [T2D].2.Integrate CGM data and metrics into a simulated clinical practice or care workflow scenario.3.Evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of different available CGM and Time in Range[TIR] resources for educating individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Objectives and Outcomes: As a result of completing this training, the healthcare team will be able to:
1. Examine the context in which childhood obesity occurs among Native American children and youth.
2. Implement a more effective and compassionate treatment approach in managing childhood obesity.
3. Identify the tools available to help patients and families dealing with childhood obesity.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
