DE1197: Infection Prevention Excellence: Comprehensive Training for Safe Healthcare Practices [CDC/IHS]
This comprehensive training is designed for healthcare professionals to excel in infection control and prevention practices, to enhance skills, and contribute to creating a safe healthcare environment. Topics for this training include Infection Control Programs, Sterilization and High-Level Disinfection, and Environmental Services.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the core infection prevention and control [IPC] practices for safe healthcare delivery.
2. Apply CDC’s Core Infection Prevention and Control Practices for safe healthcare delivery in all settings to protect the intended audience [patients and healthcare workers].
3. Recognize the significance of teamwork in healthcare settings to foster safe and effective healthcare environments.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
