Description:Results from the IHS Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit [“Audit”] provide valuable information to participating facilities for evaluation and improvement. Each year, these facilities gather data on their American Indian and Alaska Native diabetes patients and submit it to the IHS Division of Diabetes for review and analysis. This webinar will provide an overview of the Audit process and national results from the 2024 and 2025 Annual Audits.

Objectives and Outcomes: As a result of completing this training, the healthcare team will be able to:
1.Identify the purpose and background of the IHS Annual Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit.
2.Interpret findings and trends in national and local Annual Audit 2024 and 2025 results.
3.Apply Audit results and trends to identify potential areas for improvement in diabetes care at their own facility.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
