Description:Dysglycemia is an increasingly prevalent condition among children and adolescents, with disproportionately high rates observed in American Indian youth compared to other racial and ethnic groups. This population also experiences elevated rates of depression and suicidality, which may influence overall health outcomes. This webinar will provide an overview of dysglycemia in adolescents, review current management strategies, and examine the longitudinal relationship between depressive symptoms and glycemic control.Objectives and Outcomes: As a result of completing this training, the healthcare team will be able to:1.Identify at least two key risk factors and prevalence trends of dysglycemia among American Indian adolescents.2. Implement evidence-based strategies for managing dysglycemia in pediatric populations.3. Examine how depressive symptoms can impact glycemic control over time, including mechanisms or clinical implications.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
