2026 Catalog: General Courses

This session will review the purpose and significance of the National Data Warehouse, with an emphasis on the importance of entering accurate patient health data. Participants will learn the key differences between data reported through the Clinical Reporting System [CRS] and the Integrated Data Collection System [IDCS] and will gain an understanding of GPRA measure logic, including which data elements count toward GPRA reporting as indicators of improved health outcomes.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.   Recognize the significance of the National Data Warehouse and the importance of inputting accurate data.
2.   Identify the differences between the data reported via the Clinical Reporting System [CRS] and the Integrated Data Collection System [IDCS].
3.   Recognize the GPRA measure logic and how to determine what data counts towards GPRA.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
