Transmittal Notice 17-15

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the revised Part 2, Chapter 1, "Eligibility for Services," Indian Health Manual (IHM).  The purpose of this revised Chapter is to update and clarify the population that the Indian Health Service (IHS) provides health care services to.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED

Part 2, Chapter 1, "Eligibility for Services," IHM

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED

Part 2, Chapter 1, "Indians," IHM, dated January 28, 1983

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

Remove the current copy of IHM 2-1, "Indians," and discard.  Insert the attached copy of IHM 2-1, "Eligibility for Services," to include the chapter Table of Contents, in its place.  Log and file this TN in sequential order.
