BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to reissue the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #52, "Security of Information Technology Systems."

This DOA is being reissued pursuant to authority delegated to Operating Division Heads from the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, "Information System Security and Privacy Policy," dated July 30, 2014.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED

Revised Indian Health Service (IHS), DOA, Administrative #52, "Security of Information Technology Systems."

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED

The IHS, DOA, Administrative #52, "Security of Information Technology Systems," dated July 25, 2014.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

Remove and discard the current copies of DOA Administrative #52, dated July 25, 2014, from your manual system binders. Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA Administrative #52, TN 17-22, in its place.

Log and file this Transmittal Notice in sequential order.
