Presented by experts, these online education sessions discuss what's new, as well as, describe practical tools to use with your patients with diabetes. Sessions are intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dentists, dietitians, diabetes program coordinators, and other health care professionals.

Each session is approved for 1-2 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME/CE credit. All sessions are at no cost to participants.

Session Information: This seminar describes the evidence, experiences and outcomes from the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP). The current work that is being done to reduce the impact of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, including the Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program, a key component of the National DPP, are also presented. The seminar invites health team members to develop plans to incorporate evidence based lifestyle intervention activities into their care for patients at risk for diabetes, as well as plans to document program and participant successes.
