This webinar is designed for all health care providers who may evaluate a patient with measles. This includes primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and other front-line health care providers. Experts in measles will provide a “Measles 101” to review the classic and less typical clinical presentations of measles as well as the diagnosis and management of this highly infectious and once rare disease. There will be an open forum for question and answer to follow the didactic presentation.
Alvin Nelson El Amin, MD, MPH
Dr. El Amin is the Medical Director of the Immunization Program for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
James D. Cherry, MD, MSc
Dr. Cherry is a distinguished Research Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and member of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA.
