Summary:

This CDE session will include a review of collective and individual data, focus on working collaboratively with medical partners, and goal setting to increase access for 0-5 year-olds and decrease referrals to private pediatric dentists.

This course is only open to Portland Area staff participating in the Baby Teeth Matter project.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
1. State progress towards meeting data goals for 0-5 year-old access to dental care and referrals;
2. List 3 effective strategies to collaborative effectively with medical partners; and
3. List 2 quality improvement objectives and write corresponding PDSAs.

Prerequisites:

This course is only open to programs currently participating in the Baby Teeth Matter collaborative.

Tuition Payment Information:

Tutition is not required as this is a Northwest Portland Indian Health Board and Washington Dental Services Foundation-sponsored course

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
