Summary:

This webinar is offered through a collaboration with the IHS Division of Diabetes Treatment and Prevention, with the recording available on the DDTP website at https://www.ihs.gov/diabetes/training/cmece-online-edu/diabetes-online-cme-ce-education/.

This seminar will provide an overview of lifestyle management recommendations for women with diabetes in pregnancy. Information and insights for working with pregnant women with diabetes to help them achieve behavior change will be provided. Evidence based information and ADA standards for patient care and education will be presented.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Implement strategies to assist in managing diabetes in pregnancy;
2. Develop a list of resources for assisting women who have diabetes in pregnancy; and
3. Identify at least one change you will incorporate into your clinical or community health practice as a result of the training.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
