Summary:

Please join the Native Oral Health Network [NOHN] for the final webinar in our dental therapy series, “Further Considerations for Dental Therapy in Oklahoma” on January 14, 2021 at 1pm [CT]. During this webinar, we will hear from a panel of experts that will provide reflections on past advocacy efforts and how we can build on those experiences in Oklahoma. We will take a deeper dive into dental team dynamics when a dental therapist is part of that team. We will also talk about how we can continue the conversations to improve access to dental care in our tribal communities.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completing of this one-hour webinar, participants should be able to:
•   Understand the history of dental therapy advocacy in Oklahoma
•   Understand the responsibilities of dentists supervising dental therapists and dental team dynamics
•   Understand how dental therapy has been successful in other states
•   Understand the required regulatory and legislative steps

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
