Summary:

Each year, the USPHS Dental Category holds its Category Day in conjunction with the USPHS Scientific and Training Symposium. This year, the symposium is cancelled, but Category Day will proceed with two live events on May 12 and May 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. via a Zoom meeting. These webinars are limited to the first 100 unique logins, although the phone line is not limited, and are by INVITATION only.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. List four emerging oral-systemic links and describe the common characteristics of those links;
2. Describe how to treat patients with a variety of medically complex issues; and
3. Define structural racism and its impact on social determinants of health and oral health inequities.

Please Make Checks Payable to: Indian Health Service.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
