The IHS Division of Health Professions Support administers three grant programs to encourage American Indians and Alaska Natives to enter the health care professions and pave the way for these professionals to practice in Indian health facilities.
In FY 2015, the American Indians Into Nursing Program continued four grants, and both the Indians Into Medicine Program and American Indians Into Psychology Program awarded three new grants.
