2018 Tribal Self-Governance Annual Conference

Description

The 2018 Tribal Self-Governance Annual Conference will celebrate 30 years of Self-Governance in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 22-26, 2018.  During this event, American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and Tribal organizations join Federal officials across government, including the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (including the Indian Health Service and other operating divisions), the U.S. Department of the Interior (including the Bureau of Indian Affairs and other bureaus) and other Federal agencies to participate in a national forum on health policy issues, sharing best practices, and formulating recommendations for improvement. The conference provides essential Self-Governance training that is available to Tribes and Tribal organizations seeking to enter Self-Governance and for Federal employees whose scope of work falls within the purview of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Indian Health Care Improvement Act and more.  Watch for updates and registration on event website.
