Sycuan Medical Dental Center (SMDC) is a comprehensive outpatient primary and specialty care facility developed using the Patient Centered Medical Home model. We offer a full service primary care medical clinic with highly qualified medical providers as well as specialty and alternative medicine services. Our dental department is staffed by highly qualified general dentists as well as a specialist in endodontic care. We offer a full outpatient pharmacy providing deeply discounted prices in many cases. Patient care is paramount at the SMDC and is enhanced by using a multi-disciplinary team approach. Patients who take full advantage of SMDC offerings can benefit from a level of multi-disciplinary team care that is unparalleled in most other settings. Your primary care provider can coordinate your care in real time and in person with your dentist, your pharmacist (or clinical pharmacist), your alternative care provider, and/or our Licensed Clinical Social Worker. | Duties: | Successful candidate for this position will practice patient care in conjunction with the administration of the clinical department, programs, and services. Assuring provider productivity, delivery of quality patient care, meeting all compliance standards of state and federal regulations, provider recruitment and retention planning, and quality and compliance activities. Qualified candidate will possess strong community health orientation, and will provide strategic management and leadership in order to achieve the Center's mission and vision. |
| Qualifications: | EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Board-certified, California licensed MD or OD physician; Specialty - Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics; An active unrestricted CA State Medical License; Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and successful completion of an accredited training program in given specialty; Possess a current DEA license and maintain it during the course of employment; Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS); Three years of progressive work experience in ambulatory setting, with management and supervisory experience. |
