The White Cloud Health Center is located on the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska Indian Reservation. The reservation is located in the far northeastern part of the state and borders Nebraska and Missouri. We are a tribally operated outpatient health clinic located on the Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska Indian Reservation in White Cloud, Kansas. The White Cloud Indian Health Center is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to serve as a Medical Director, with passion to serve our patient population and make a meaningful impact to improve the health of the communities served. We provided ambulatory health care services using team based approach to care and a medical home model providing comprehensive primary care through our medical, behavioral health, dental, health and wellness center, diabetes program, and other partnerships with the community outreach departments. White Cloud Health Center is designated as a HRSA Loan Repayment Site. Candidates are also eligible to apply for the Indian Health Service Loan Repayment Program. Salary is negotiable based experience and education. |
| Duties: | Provide comprehensive, appropriate, culturally sensitive patient care. Adhere to the highest quality standards and guidelines of patient care. Participate in clinic program development and quality improvement. Provide mentorship to mid-level providers and students as needed. Provides a full range of family practice services. Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention. Participate and contribute towards meeting organization's targets for all quality metrics. |
| Qualifications: | M.D. or D.O. Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible (considered) Physician Family Medicine Experience working with diverse populations in community clinics with demonstrated commitment DEA License and active unrestricted medical license Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and successful completion of an accredited training program in given specialty Authorized to work in the United States Candidate will be required to successfully complete a probationary period |
