The Family Practice Physician (FPP) will provide health care services to the Bad River community and assume Medical Director responsibilities in his/her absence.
Duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned. The FPP will provide comprehensive clinical and medical care at a primary and secondary level in the specialty of Family Practice in an outpatient setting. The FPP will collaborate with the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Physicians and other health professionals to provide a broad range of health care to the Bad River Community. Will supervise the Clinic RN, the FNP, Laboratory Technician, Pharmacist, and Medical Assistant. Will serve as medical consultant to the Clinic Administrator, Health Director, health Board, Tribal Council and various health programs. Responsible for positive representation of Clinic, exemplifying a personal conduct and management style which reflects an appropriate role model. Will demonstrate tact, courtesy and a positive approach to communication and interaction with other employees, visitors, physicians and clients. Will be responsible for communications with the Clinic to ensure that information is shared for effective operations. Will work in cooperation with AODA and Behavioral Health services.

Education and/or Experience: Required: Graduate of an accredited member of the Association of American Colleges, with a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and licensed to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin or be eligible to hold/obtain a license. Preferred: Certified ACLS
