If you would like to provide medical care in the country, then this job is for you. We are 5 hours from the nearest Costco and 75 miles from the nearest emergency room. We have 5-10 patients/day. Although patient flow is minimal, we also need you to double as our pharmacist and provide community presentations. You will be provided a Medical Assistant. This position provides comprehensive health and medical care services in the full scope of Family Medicine practice from pediatric to geriatric care. The physician requires the recognition and knowledge of diseases and injuries, which may require referrals to outside specialists. Assumes responsibility for the diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation of patients. |
| Duties: | provide direct medical services to patients involving the performance of diagnostic, preventive, or therapeutic services in outpatient clinic facility. Prescribe, administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to teat , prevent illness, disease or injury. Order, perform interpret testes, analyze records and reports, and analyzes information to diagnose history, reports, and examination results. Monitor patients condition and progress. Enter patient information into the EHR Electronic Health Records. Responsible for all facets of the pharmacy. |
| Qualifications: | MD or DO license n the United States or Canada. Unrestricted cense to practice as a physician in any state territory. Must possess a DEA license. Must maintain continuing education as maintained by State law. Completion of Residency program in Family Medicine. Board certified preferred, but not required. Must have NPI. Pass comprehensive fingerprint and background check. |
