September 15 - 19 is National Health IT Week!
Health information technology tools, such as electronic health records, are critical to improving the delivery of health care services and giving patients the information they need to live a healthy life. Health IT helps ensure the accuracy of health information, promotes patient communication with health care professionals, and reminds providers when patients are due for exams. IHS is continuing to expand its use of Health IT to improve patient health care.
