Installation Notes For ACHS V 3.0 Patch 8

1.  GENERAL INFORMATION

        a) Corrections are to routines and to the Data Dictionary of
	   two CHS files 'CHS DATA CONTROL' and 'CHS COMMON ACCOUNTING
	   NUMBERS'.
        b) This patch is cumulative of previous patches.
        c) This patch fixes:
		a) CHS for Y2000 compliance.
		b) Two routines and two database fields have changed
		c) Routine list:
			ACHSA1 -- ENTER DOCUMENTS (2/8)
			Option DOC/ID, entering DOS for new document.
			ACHSA4 -- ENTER DOCUMENTS (5/8)
			Option DOC/ID, can code selection.
		d) Data dictionary list:
			9002062 -- CHS COMMON ACCOUNTING NUMBER
			subfile 9002062.04 : Field .01
			9002069 -- CHD DATA CONTROL
			subfile 9002069.01 : Field .01

2.  CONTENTS OF DISTRIBUTION
        a)  achs0300.08k - KIDS distribution file
        b)  achs0300.08n - This file

3.  REQUIREMENTS
        a)  CHS V 3.0

4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
        a) Disable menu option ACHSMENU.
	b) Backup all ACHS routines using %RS.
		1) D ^%RS
		2) select HFS.
		3) enter save file name such as 'ACHS_SS.19990401'.
		4) enter a comment such as 'Pre patch 8 snapshot'.
		5) select routines 'ACHS*'.
        c) Perform KIDS install of file achs0300.08k.
        d) Enable menu option ACHSMENU.
	e) In the event of an install failure  restore the snap shot
	   file created in step 4.b.
		1) D ^%RR
		2) enter snap shot file name from step 4.b.3.
		3) restore all routines.
