     3.  CHANGES THAT THIS PATCH WILL MAKE:
 
         Modifications are needed to make ARMS fully compatible with
         Cache'. Included with the ARMS package (ACRF), are routines from
         the 1166 Approval for Payments (AFSL), Area Office Finance
         (AFSH), IHS Telecommunications (AFST), and the Contracts
         Information Services (ACGS) packages. IM13574
 
         ITEM 1. Modifications are made to routines that are currently
         specific to MSM in order for them to check for environment. 
         Prevents <WRITE>REC01+35^ACRFEXP5 error. Service Center call
         IM13574 (ACGSEXP, ACGSEXPY, ACRFFF1, ACRFFF2, ACRFSPL2, ACRFUTL,
         ACRFZIS, ACRFZISH, AFSHARC0, AFSHCK1, AFSHEX1, AFSLCK1, AFSLDKG,
         AFSTCK1) (14 routines)
 
         ITEM 2. Modifications were made to meet SAC and Cache'
         requirements. IM 13574 (ACGSDCI1, ACGSEXPX, ACGSFYA, ACGSREST,
         ACGSRQ5, ACRFFDH, ACRFFDH1, ACRFFDH2, ACRFIRSF, ACRFLM, ACRFUTL,
         AFSHBPRT, AFSHCK1, AFSHCRTS, AFSHEX1, AFSHSELX, AFSHTBUP,
         AFSHXUT0, AFSLDIQ2, AFSHDKG, AFSHDKG2, AFSLEAPR, AFSLLDO1,
         AFSLLDO2, AFSLRRT3, AFSLTF1) (26 routines)
 
         ITEM 3. Modifications were made to handle effects of changes to
         the FileMan routine, %DT. (ACRFPPR)
 
         ITEM 4. Routines are sent in order to remove them from the Area
         routine directory. Routines are not used and will generate errors
         during a Cache' installation. (AFSHTCK1)
 
         ITEM 5. Modifications are made to correct wrong Fiscal Year to be
         sent in the DHR. (ACRFDHR, AFSHDHR) (2 routines)
 
         ITEM 6. Modifications are made to replace hardcoded directory
         calls with data from the FMS System Defaults file. IM14144

       The ACRF13EN routine is the environment check and ACRF13PS is the
       post-install routine. Both routines may be deleted after the
       installation is completed. 
 
   4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
 
       A.  Suspend use of the ARMS package. 
 
       B.  Make backup copies of the routines. 
 
       C.  Under the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu [XPD
           MAIN], use option Load A Distribution to load the ACR*2.1*13
           patch into KIDS. 
 
           Enter a Host File: acr_0210.13k
 
           Use option Print Transport Global on the KIDS Installation Menu
           to print and review components of this distribution. 
 
       D.  Under the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu [XPD
           MAIN], use option Install Package(s) to install the package. 
 
           Select INSTALL NAME: ACR*2.1*13
 
           Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options and Protocols?
                       YES// NO
 
           Device: Home//
 
           After installation is complete, use option Install File Print
           of the KIDS Utilities submenu to print and review the
           installation process. 
 
       E.  Routines ACR13PST and ACRF13EN may be deleted. 
 
       F.  Using FileMan, verify that the (#320) DEFAULT DIRECTORY FOR HFS
           field in the KERNEL SYSTEM PARAMETERS file, has been set to
           the default public directory.
 
       G.  Resume using the ARMS package.
