GENERAL INFORMATION This patch updates the ADA CODE file with the CDT3, the Current Dental Terminology 3, the Code on dental procedures and Nomenclature, Version 2000, released by the ADA. Several codes have been added, and several existing codes' text have been revised. Eight codes are inactivated by this update. Updates to the DENTAL EDIT, DENTAL CODE EDIT GROUP and DENTAL OPERATIVE SITE files have been included in this patch. 2. CONTENTS OF PATCH Patch 1 Files: ade_0600.06k KIDS format ade_0600.06n notes (this file) 3. REQUIREMENTS a) Kernel v8.0 or later b) FileMan v21 or later c) ADE V 6.0 through patch 04 (patch 06 replaces patch 05) 4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS In all UCI's running IHS DENTAL (Namespace: ADE) a) Notify Dental users to stop using ADE during the install process. b) Log in as a system manager and go to programmer mode. D ^XUP and choose for the option KERNEL INSTALLATION AND DISTRIBUTION c) Choose option INSTALLATION, and LOAD the kids patch ade_0600.06k d) Install the patch choosing ADE*6.0*6 See example process below. Press enter at the prompts and take the defaults. e) Verify that the patch installed properly by displaying the installed patches in the Utility menu f) Notify the Dental users that it's ok to resume use of ADE. ************************************************************************** ***** Example Installation Script: ***** Log into your production UCI and enter into programmer mode.
