GENERAL INFORMATION This patch removes all references to files 3,6,16 (User, Provider and Person files), replaced with File 200 (New Person) references. This patch contains changes to support the Social Security Number Fraud Prevention Act of 2017 and the Social Security Number Reduction Act. a) File modifications: Update the following Data Dictionaries to remove references to Files 3,6,16: - Dental Procedure File #9002002.22 - ADE Generic Provider File #9002002.22 - Dental Followup File #9002003.2 - Dental Site Parameters File #9002006 - Dental Employee File #9002010.01 b) Convert the files above and the following files to point to the New Person File (File #200): - Dental Sterilizer Test File #9002002.51 - Dental Continuing Education File #9002002.6 - Dental Fluoridation Surveillance File #9002002.1 c) This install includes the following changes: updates 27 routines, 14 print templates, 15 sort templates, 1 input template and 2 options. d) Check the description in the patch file (in KIDS) to see the entire list of changes (KIDS/Utilities/Build File Print). e) Project tracking codes: Epic: 87131; Features: 94431,94433,75988,90057 2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS a) Make sure you have a nightly backup. b) DDS Sites: Ensure all dental extracts and statistical report options have been ran before installing this patch. This includes the quarterly statistical report, dental data exports, and any others the site usually runs. There may be data present in these files that should be exported and cleared out prior to this update. Also ensure all dental visits have been completed in the DDS application (use the SUP/DIAG/DBKG option) to see if there are any dental visit records queued in the ADEPOST global. c) Shut down TaskMan and make sure DDS users are not logged into the application. d) Before you install the patch, make sure you start a log file to track the installation to ensure there are no errors. e) At the Cache programmer prompt, enter D ^XPDKRN. f) Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1. The distribution was released in a file named: ade_0600.38k. g) Verify the load using option 2 on the Installation menu. h) Use options 3 and 4 to print and compare the Transport. i) Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu. j) If you did not create a log file, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to view/print the "ADE*6.0*38" entry to view the results. k) After verifying successful completion of the installation, restart TaskMan and allow access to Dental (DDS application).
