GENERAL INFORMATION a) Print all notes/readme files. b) It is recommended that the terminal output during the installation be captured using an auxport printer attached to the terminal at which you are performing the software installation. This will insure a printed audit trail if any problems should arise. c) This patch does the following: Modifies the 3M coder interface. (APCD3M,APCD3MG) Adds a new data entry option for updating historical Diabetes information. This option utilizes a screenman screen. (APCDDMU*) Adds a new data entry option to print a complete PCC visit in Encounter form format. This can be used by users who do their data entry without filling out a form. (APCDEF,APCDEFC,APCDEFC1,APCDEFP, APCDEFP1,APCDEFU) Added a field to the Refusals to allow an indication of whether the refusal was because the item was not medically indicated. Added NMI mnemonic to enter Refusals that were Not Medically Indicated. Added a mnemonic to pick up Chief Complaint Added a AOP mnemonic. When used to enter procedures, this will prompt for anesthesia information. Added a prompt for ordering provider to RAD mnemonic. Added 2 cpt modifier fields to the Radiology templates. Added VCN, if entered to the visit selection display (APCDALV, APCDALV1,APCDEWHA,APCDVLK). In the option to move V File items from one visit to another, added the ability to move all of one V File type by ordering provider. (APCDKUL) Fixed UNDEF in forms tracking report. (APCDFOS1) Patch 2 did the following: Added all visit types to the Default Visit Type field in the PCC Control File. Added all visit types to the Default Visit Type field of the PCC Data Entry Site Parameters file. Added a new DD call PCC Data Entry Coder Errors for future use. REF - to enter a patient's refusal of service. WARNING: it has been suggested that the PCPT mnemonic no longer be used because it may erroneously map CPT codes with Operation codes. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS In all UCI's running PCC Data Entry: a) This is a KIDS install. Load distribution apcd0200.03k. After it is loaded, then install it.
