GENERAL INFORMATION a) Print all notes/readme files. b) It is recommended that the terminal output during the installation be captured. The following enhancements are contained in this patch: 1) New fields are being delivered to the APSS (Script Pro) logic to be sent to the Script Pro device. The new fields are: Patient Address Patient Gender Provider Class License Number DEA # Issue Date Pharmacy Name Site DEA Number 2) Line ASK+2^APSSSPRO - Added check for ZTSK 3) Line ASK+7^APSSSPRO - Changed duplicate check for DTOUT to check for DUOUT 4. CONTENTS OF DISTRIBUTION a) apss0100.01k - KIDS build containing the modified logic. b) apss0100.01n - This notes file. 5. REQUIREMENTS a) Kernel v8.0 or later b) FileMan v22 patch 1002 c) Cache v 4.1 or later d) Script Pro version 1.0 e) Outpatient Pharmacy V 7.0 6. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS This patch can be installed while pharmacy users are on the system. In all UCI's running the IHS ScriptPro Interface: a) If the Script Pro interface is running, stop it. This can be done by setting the field 'Link Active' in the APSS PARAMETERS file (9009033.1) to NO. b) Under the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu [XPD MAIN], use option Load A Distribution (option 1) to load the APSS*1.0*1 patch into KIDS. Enter a Host File: apss0100.01k When loading the file, answer YES to all questions. When installing, answer NO to all questions. c) Verify the load using option 2 on the KIDS Installation menu. d) Consider using options 3 and 4 on the KIDS Installation menu to print and compare the Transport global. e) Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu. f) Set the 'Link Active' field in the APSS PARAMETERS file (9009033.1) to yes. 7.
