GENERAL INFORMATION a) This patch automates the update to the Standard Code Book (SCB), distributed thru Banyan message from Joseph L. Herrera, dated Friday, March, 03, 1995 13:48:03 MST. A reproduction of the contents of the attachment of that Banyan Message is at the end of this notes file. b) If you received this distribution on tape media please remember to return the tape to the originator. c) Routine A9AUM4 is included for Remote Patch Installation. NOTE: New functionality has been added to A9AUM4. The routines included in this patch will be deleted. Subsequent patches will delete A9AUM4. d) Routine AUMXPORT will use data distributed with this patch to search the local database for effected patients, and mark the patients for export. This is intended to provide DDPS with current information, and keep the national database at DDPS as current as possible. THIS IS NEW FUNCTIONALITY WITH THIS PATCH. REQUIREMENTS a) Kernel v 7.0 or later b) FileMan v 19 or later c) IHS Standard Tables implementation of the SCB, version 95.1 4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For Area Office, if Remote Patch Installation (ZIBRPI) utility installed in your facilities: a) Send the patch file to the facility and monitor your public directory for the results file. For all facilities without ZIBRPI: In all UCI's running AUM: a) Do routine restore from the file aum_9510.p4, which should restore 7 routines. b) D ^AUM9503 to install the changes to the SCB. You will be given the opportunity to q the task to TaskMan. Time to complete the changes to the standard tables averages less than a minute. However, time to search the local database for effected patients will increase the required time depending on the number of effected patients at each facility. c) If performed interactively, results will be displayed to your screen. If q'd to TaskMan, a MailMan message will be generated and delivered to the user and to local user # 1. d) When successfully complete, you may delete routines included in the patch, AUM9501*, and A9AUM2. 5. Routine A9AUM4 is included for use by the XB/ZIB Remote Patch Installation utility. NOTE: Beginning with this patch (4), patients effected by changes to the SCB tables will be marked for export in order to keep the DDPS database synchronized with data in the local RPMS database.
