1.  GENERAL INFORMATION

    a)  Make a copy of this distribution for off-line storage.

    b)  Print all notes/readme files.

    c)  It is recommended that the terminal output during the installation be
        captured using an auxport printer attached to the terminal at which
        you are performing the software installation.  This will assure a
        printed audit trail if any problems should arise.

    d)  Patch 10 corrects a problem on the ACXIHS09 cross reference in
        File 200, Field 9999999.09, which fails to SET the GIHS cross
        reference in File 6.  Patch 10 corrects the dd and fires the
        GIHS cross reference to File 6 for all the entries in File 200.

    e)  Time to install is approximately 1 second for every 100 entries
        in your File 200.

2.  CONTENTS OF PATCH
    
    Patch 10 Files:
      ava_9320.10p                routines--AVA200,AVASLXR,AVAP10
      ava_9320.10n                notes (this file)
      ava_9320.10b                global (dd for Patch 9)

3.  REQUIREMENTS

    a)  Kernel v8.0 or later

    b)  FileMan v21 or later

    c)  AVA 93.2

4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

    In all UCI's running IHS VA SUPPORT FILES (Namespace: AVA)

    a)  Restore routines from ava_9320.10p.  This will restore 3
        routines:  AVA200, AVASLXR, AVAP10.

    If you have previously installed Patch 9, go to step d.

    b)  Patch 9 only:  Do a Global Restore of ava_9320.10b.

    c)  Patch 9 only:  Do the install of the AVASLXR routine
                       (D INSTALL^AVASLXR)

    d)  Run routine AVAP10 (D ^AVAP10).
        This will update the File 200 dd, and re-index field 9999999.09.
