1.  GENERAL INFORMATION
 
    AVA*93.2*21 expands the capabilities of the AVA PROVIDER ADD/EDIT option
    to include the ability to edit the FAX NUMBER (#.136), EMAIL ADDRESS
    (#.151), DEA EXPIRATION DATE (#747.44) and SPI (#43.99) fields of the
    NEW PERSON file (#200).


 
2.  CONTENTS OF DISTRIBUTION
 
    a)  ava_9320.21k - KIDS file
 
    b)  ava_9320.21n - Notes file (this file)

 
3.  REQUIREMENTS
 
    a)  Kernel v 8 or later
 
    b)  Kernel Toolkit v 7.3 or later
 
    c)  FileMan v 21 or later
    
        Note - build is not dependent on prior builds/patches     

        
4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
    In all production UCI's  : 

    a)  Log on to the RPMS system (there is no need to lock out access for 
        other users during this installation) and proceed to the KIDS
        installation system.  This may be accessed either via the VA Kernel
        Menu system (at the "Kernel Installation & Distribution System"), or
        via programmer mode by entering D ^XPDKRN at the programmer prompt.

    b)  Load KIDS file ava_9320.21k using KIDS option 1 (Load a Distribution).

    c)  Install KIDS build AVA*93.2*21 using KIDS option 6 (Install Package(s)).
        Answer 'NO' to the 'INHIBIT LOGONs' and 'DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu 
        Options, and Protocols' prompts, if asked.
 
    d)  For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to
        view/print the AVA*93.2*21 entry.
