1. GENERAL INFORMATION
	
Patch 1 of the Clinical Reporting System version 9.0 contains the 
changes listed below. There are no changes to performance measure 
logic for any report.

Change 1:  Updated CRS graphical user interface (GUI).
Change 2:  Added new 2010 National GPRA & PART Report.
Change 3:  Added new 2010 GPRA & PART Forecast Patient List.
Change 4:  Added new 2010 Area Aggregate National GPRA & PART report.
Change 5:  Fixed error occurring with transaction codes in the 
Osteoporosis Management topic in the Selected Measures (Local) Report.
Change 6:  Fixed a problem with incorrect display of overdue dates 
in the GPRA & PART Forecast Patient List.
Change 7:  Fixed a problem in the CRS GUI with display of 
patient list options.  
Change 8:  Fixed a problem in the CRS roll-and-scroll with 
display of patient list options.  
Change 9:  Fixed a problem in the CRS GUI with uploading of 
facility files at the Area Office.
Change 10:  Fixed a problem in the CRS GUI for the Create 
Search Template for National Patient List option.
Change 11:  Fixed a problem in the CRS GUI when viewing all 
CRS taxonomies in Taxonomy Setup.
Change 12:  Fixed a problem in the CRS GUI that allowed a user 
to delete a location in the site parameters.

3. REQUIREMENTS

   a) VA Kernel V 8.0 or later

   b) VA FileMan V 21.0 or later

   c) IHS Clinical Reporting System Version 9.0 (bgp_0900.k)

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


In all UCIs running the IHS Clinical Reporting System (CRS):

 
    1) Save off all BGP* routines as a backup.

    2) Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the KIDS
        Installation menu.  The distribution was released in a file named
        bgp_0900.01k.

    3)  Verify the load using option 2 on the KIDS Installation menu.

    4)  Consider using options 3 and 4 on the KIDS Installation menu to
         print and compare the Transport global.

    5)  Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu.

    6)  For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to 
        view/print the "BGP*9.0*1" entry.

   Instructions for installing the Visual CRS (GUI):

   On any PC where Visual CRS has been installed do the following:

      1. Unzip bgp_0900.01client.zip into a directory of your choice on
         the client's PC.
         You will have 2 files:  bgp_0900.01.msi and bgp_0900.01setup.exe

      2. Double Click bgp_0900.01setup.exe that was distributed with  
         Visual CRS.

      3. Follow the prompts on the Visual CRS Setup Screens, taking
         the defaults.
