 1.  GENERAL INFORMATION 
 
     Patch #1 to IMMUNIZATION version 8.5 contains the following changes:
 

     1) Fix for Date/Location line missing from printed form letters.  

     2) Flu, Dermal CVX 144 now recognized as a dose of Flu vaccine.

     3) Explanation text at the bottom of the Adolescent Report
        "Current" versus "Not Current" clarified.

     4) Fix to occasional error when printing PCC+ Forms.

     5) On the Reports Menu, three options (ADO, ADL, & PCV) failed to
        redisplay version, title, site and user, when returning to the
        main reports menu.  Fixed.

     6) A note of information for unix/AIX Immv8.5 installations:
        The v8.5 installation comes with a default Immserve path of
        "/usr/local/immserve85/" (MGR-->ESP-->9)--with lowercase "i" for
        "immserve."

        However, the Installation Guide, Step 4.2.c on page 8 
        recommends and uppercase "I".  This is a typo.  Either will
        work (immserve or Immserve); but it is important that they
        match--the site parameter and the actual directory name.

        Again, this is just an FYI note; if your site's call to Immserve
        is working, please disregard this.

     7) A third dose of Flu vaccine would be forecast in 2012 for some
        patients under 9 years.  This has been corrected.

     a) Kernel 8.0
 
     b) FM 22 or higher

     c) Immunization v8.5

 

 4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 


     In all production UCI's/Namespaces: 

     a)  Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the 
         Installation menu.  The distribution was released in a file named 
         bi__0850.01k.  
 
     b)  Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu.
         Answer 'NO' to the 'INHIBIT LOGONs' and 'DISABLE Scheduled
         Options, Menu Options, and Protocols' prompts.
 
     c)  For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to
         view/print the " BI*8.5*1" entry.
