1.  GENERAL INFORMATION
 
    a)  Print all notes/readme files.
 
    b)  It is recommended that the terminal output during the
        installation be captured.  This will insure a printed
        audit trail if any problems should arise.
    
    c) This patch includes 3 modifications to support code
       set versioning:
       1. Routine AUPNSICD which is the input transform call
          for V POV, V CPT and V PROCEDURE for screening
          which codes can be selected based on the visit date.
          This routine was modified to change to add a check
          for the status of Ecodes and also to update how the
          status check was being done in a code set versioned
          environment.
       2. Routine APCDPPOV which checks a patient's age
          against the age limits in the ICD9 file.  The routine
          was modified to correctly display the age edit.
       3. Routine APCDVCH which checks a patient's age
          against the ICD9 file entry.  This routine was modified
          to correctly display and check the age of the patient
          against the ICD9 code entry.
       4. Data Dictionary V POV, fields .09, .18, .19 to 
          apply a screen for inactive E codes.

3.  REQUIREMENTS
 
    a)  Kernel v 8.0 or later
 
    b)  FileMan v 21/22

    c)  IHS PCC SUITE Version 2.0.  (bjpc0200.k)

 
      
4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
    In all UCI's running PCC Data Entry:
 
 
    1) Save off all APCD* routines as a backup.

    2) Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the KIDS
        Installation menu.  The distribution was released in a file named
        bjpc0200.01k.

    3)  Verify the load using option 2 on the KIDS Installation menu.

    4)  Consider using options 3 and 4 on the KIDS Installation menu to
         print and compare the Transport global.

    5)  Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu.

    6)  For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to view/print the
         "BJPC*2.0*1" entry.
