There are now two medication components that can be added to the wellness handout: Medications (Active Only) and Medications (Active and recently expired). New Treatment Plan A patient Treatment Plan may be entered from the UPD Update Patient Related/Non Visit Data menu. It s option TP, Update Patient Treatment Plan. From this option, a use may add, edit, display, or delete a plan; enter a review, discontinue a plan, or Quit. The Treatment Plan captures the following information: Type (Behavioral Health, Other, or Pain); Responsible Provider: Date Initiated; Diagnosis; Review Date; Reviewed By; Review Comment; Date Discontinued; Discontinued By; Duration; Team Members; Patient Strengths; Area of focus; Goal; Objective; Comment; Next review; Reason Discontinued; and Discontinued Comment. New Health Factors: Confidence in Managing Health Problems The Confidence in Managing Health Problems category has four options: Very Sure; Somewhat Sure; Not Very Sure; and I Do Not Have Any Health Problems. New Exams (CR064) Newborn Hearing Screen (Right) (CR064) Newborn Hearing Screen (Left) (CR256) Color Blindness New Measurements: Fluid Intake and Fluid Outtake (CR071) 24-hour fluid intake: FI24 (CR071) 24-hour fluid outtake: FO24 (CR071) 24-hour fluid balance, positive/negative: FBPN Modified Measurements (CR060) The Birth Measurement KG weight value displays four decimal digits. Nutritional Risk Screening with Health Summary Component (CR272) A Nutritional Risk Screening can be added using the NRS mnemonic. The screening captures nutritional risk factors. The Nutritional Risk Screening component in the Health Summary displays the patient’s last three nutritional risk screenings. Anticoagulation: Data Entry, Health Summary Best Practice Prompts, Health Summary Supplement, Report (Child306) When a patient is prescribed Warfarin in the Pharmacy package, the following six new anticoagulation-related Best Practice Prompts are activated in the Health Summary: * Anticoagulation: Anticoagulation Therapy End Date * Anticoagulation: Duration of Anticoagulation Therapy * Anticoagulation: INR Goal * Anticoagulation: Safety Measure: Urinalysis * Anticoagulation: Safety Measure: CBC * Anticoagulation: Safety Measure: FOBT (CR139) Enter the Anticoagulation Therapy data using mnemonic ACTH. (Child306) The new Anticoagulation Supplement displays in the Health Summary. (Child304) A new Anticoagulation INR Management Report helps to assess the quality of anticoagulation services for a designated population at a facility during a specific month. The report population options are: Warfarin patients; anticoagulation clinic; search template; EHR personal list; and iCare panel. Family History (CR 286) Family History does not allow a duplicate relation to be entered. This component will not work well for sites who are not running the IHS Pharmacy system.) * (CR205) Demographics – Brief w/ Adv Directives: Displays the patient’s name, DOB, SSN, Age, Sex, Tribe, HRN, Address, Phone, Work Phone, Eligibility, and latest Advance Directives information. * (CR185) Active Wait List Entries: Displays all wait list entries for the patient. Wait list entries are entered through the scheduling and ADT system when a patient is waiting to get into a clinic or ward. * (CR084) Imaging: Displays the imaging data from the radiology package. Health Summary: New Site Parameters (CR162) A new site parameter allows the site to specify how many lines of Remarks (Additional Patient Registration Information) will display in the Demographic component of the health summary. A parameter was also added to define whether the first or last # of lines will display. This was because some sites append to the end of the word processing field and some sites append to the top. To set these parameters use menu patch: Health Summary Maintenance (HSM) - Update Health Summary Site parameters (HSSP). Health Summary: New Health Maintenance Reminders * (CR104) Chlamydia Screening: Due once between the ages of 16-25. The site must attach this reminder to any summary type on which it should display. * (CR178) HIV Screening: Due once between the ages of 13-64 for patients without a history of HIV/AIDS. The site must attach this reminder to any summary type on which it should display. * (Child393) Newborn Hearing Screen: This reminder will prompt until the age of one or the screening exams are documented. Health Summary: Modified Health Maintenance Reminders Functions * (CR175) For all reminders, removed the “MAY BE DUE NOW” text and replaced it with the date the item was first due. * (Child429) Pediatric Hearing Exam reminder includes more CPT codes and diagnosis codes. It does not count any hearing test before age three. * (CR180) Changed the Rubella Health Maintenance Reminder to a Best Practice Prompt. * (CR237) The two Colorectal Cancer screening reminders stop at age 75. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS In all UCI's running PCC Data Entry: 1) Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the KIDS Installation menu. The distribution was released in a file named bjpc0200.02k. 2) Verify the load using option 2 on the KIDS Installation menu. 3) Consider using options 3 and 4 on the KIDS Installation menu to print and compare the Transport global. 4) Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation menu. 5) For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to view/print the "BJPC*2.0*2" entry. 5.
