I.  GENERAL INFORMATION

    Patch #1 includes the following changes to the RCIS Package:

    1. Data Entry Changes

       A. Mini Default Data Entry - Includes new prompt-Schedule within
          ___ Days.
       B. Terminology Change of the Referrals Initiated at Outside.
          Facility  to Call In Notification by Outside Facility.
       C. CHS Eligibility Factors added to the Call In Notification By
           Outside Facility.
       D. Number of Days authorized-Records User who authorized

    2. New Call In Notification Letter

    3. Display of last 5+ Referrals modified to include all Referrals on
       same date initiated.

    4. Standard Referral Letter modified:

       A. Private Insurance Company Display fixed to not wrap if multiple
          insurers.
       B. Social Security Number Display on Referral Letter-now Site
          Parameter Driven.

    5. Secondary Provider Letter-Signature Line changed to Contract
       Health Service Office.

    6. Modify Referrals-No longer requires IHS Requesting Provider.

    7. Fixed Fileman 22 DIC Lookup Call for Cache Sites.  Patient Name
       printed twice at Fileman 22 Sites.

    8. New Security Key BMCZEDIT now attached to main Data Entry Menu
       Option.

    9. Removed the Security Key BMCZ MGR from Modify Referrals-All
       Fiscal Years.

   10. New CHS Data element added to Link and Referral Display-Date
       Purchase Order Paid.
       This Link will not be evident until the CHS Package passes the
       data to RCIS.

   11. Report Modifications

       A. TTDX - Frequency of Diagnosis Report-
          Specified Beg/End Date Range Display in Report Header
       B. TTPX -Frequency Procedure Report-
          Specified Beg/End Date Range Display in Report Header
       C. FRP - Referral Patterns by Provider of Facility
          Specified Beg/End Date Range Display in Report Header
       D. CHSC - CHS Referral Patterns by Requesting Provider
          Specified Beg/End Date Range Display in Report Header
       E. ILOG  - Inpatient Log Report -Includes Referral # and IHS
          Requesting Provider
       F. NDA - Number of Days Authorized Report - Includes User who
          Authorized
       G. OUT - Referrals Initiated At Outside Facility- No longer
          Fileman Front-end - User Friendly
       H. CRD - Print Case Review Comments- Fixed Processing code
       I. SWK - Secondary Provider Workload- New Report

   12. New Lister Item "Closed By User".

IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

     1. If the RCIS program was previously installed at your site, do the
        following:
        a. Disable the BMCMENU Menu option
        b. Make sure all users will be off the system during the Post Init
           process
        c. Do a Routine Save of all BMC* routines.

     2. Under the Kernel Installation & Distribution System Menu [XPD 
        MAIN], use option Load A Distribution:
        Enter Host File:  bmc_0200.01k
        Use option Build File Print of KIDS Utilities submenu to print and
        review components of this distribution.
        Install the Package:
        Select INSTALL NAME:  BMC*2.00*1
        Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options & Protocols?
        YES//NO
        Device:  Home// 
        After the installation is complete, use option Install File Print
        of the KIDS Utilities submenu to print and review the installation
        process.
     3. Assign new Data Entry Menu Option Security Key BMCZEDIT to
        appropriate Uers.
