1.  GENERAL INFORMATION
 
    a) Print all notes and readme files.
 
    b) It is recommended that the terminal output during the
       installation be captured using an auxport printer attached
       to the terminal at which you are performing the software
       installation.  These printouts will ensure a printed audit
       trail if any problems should arise.

    c) This patch is iCare Population Management GUI Version 2.4
       Patch 2.  

    d) The patch adds, fixes, and modifies the following
       functionality for iCare. 


2.  iCare Enhancements and Fixes:

With some of the reported slowness of the RPMS system at certain sites, 
some additional efficiency measures have been implemented for the iCare
nightly and weekly jobs.

    1.  CR 4827: Implement modification for Reminders Background Nightly
        Processing
        Nightly reminders logic has been updated to only refresh reminders
        for patients with a visit that day where the visit DEPENDENT COUNT
        is greater than 1. 

    2.  CR 4830: Implement modification for iCare Reminders Weekly
        Processing
        Weekly reminders will no longer calculate for all living, active
        patients.  If a patient had a visit during the week, their
        reminders were updated during the nightly job so they will not
        be updated during the weekly job.

    3.  CR 4832: Modify iCare Nightly Job - Autopopulate Panels Process
        to Improve Performance
        New fields, start date/time and end date/time based on the last
        panel population process, has been added to the panel definition.
        it takes for a panel to be populated has
        been added to the panel definition.  The nightly autopopulate
        process has been modified to process those panels that take the
        longest time to populate first and then the quicker panels.  This
        is in case the Autopopulate job runs over into the work day, it
        finished quickly.

    4.  Other efficiency measures
        Some of the nightly jobs have been modified to use direct reads
        instead of FileMan API $$GET1^DIQ to improve efficiency.  This
        includes the four Flags options.

3.  REQUIREMENTS
 
    a) iCare Management System Version 2.4 Patch 1


4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
    In all UCI's running iCare Version 2.4 Patch 2:
 
  1)  Do not install if any of the iCare background jobs are currently
      running.

  2)  Load the Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the KIDS
      Installation menu.  The distribution was released in a file
      named bqi_0240.02k.

  3)  Verify the load using option 2 on the KIDS Installation 
      menu.

  4)  Consider using options 3 and 4 on the KIDS Installation 
      menu to print and compare the Transport global.

  5)  Install the distribution using option 6 on the Installation 
      menu.

  6)  For results, use the KIDS "Install File Print" option to 
      view/print the "BQI*2.4*2" entry.
