 Installation notes for Lexicon V2 Patch 1009

 1.  GENERAL INFORMATION

     a)  This patch is a cumulative Data only patch from VA
         patches 121-124.

         This patch is cumulative IHS patches 1004-1009.  Patch
         contains ICD and CPT code updates through December 2019.
	

     b)  Description of changes:	

         1. Adds and updates ICD, CPT, DRG and Snomed codes to the
            Lexicon utility.

     c)  Typical time for the install is 15 minutes.

 2.  CONTENTS OF DISTRIBUTION

     a) lex_0200.1009k - Global KIDS file
     b) lex_0200.1009n - Notes file

 3.  REQUIREMENTS

      a) VA FileMan 22 patch 1018 (DI*22.0*1018) or later 
      b) VA Kernel 8 patch 1018 (XU*8.0*1018) or later
      c) LEX V2.0 Patch 1003 - LEX*2.0*1003



 4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

     a) Save the LEX and LEXT globals
        EXAMPLE:
	D ^%GO
	Global output
	Device: C:\PUB\LEX.P1009.sav.GO
	Parameters? "WNS" =>
	Description (^ for self-loading): LEX and LEXT global save prior
        to patch 1009 install
	All Globals? No => No
	Global ^LEX
	Global ^LEXT
	Global ^
	2 globals selected from 1427 available globals.
	LEX  LEXT
	2 globals written
        
        Note: the save can be completed anytime before the install with
        users on the system.                                       

     b) This release should be installed during off-peak hours with users
        off the system.
        
        Verify file size after uncompressing/unziping files:
        lex_0200.1009k       

                 
     c)  This is a KIDS Install.  Use the Installation options on the KIDS
         menu.

     d) Load the Global Distribution into KIDS using option 1 on the
        Installation menu. The distribution was released in a file named
        lex_0200.1009k.

     e)  For results, read the generated MailMan message, or use the KIDS
         "Install File Print" option to view/print the "LEX*2.0*1009"
         entry.

     f)  The post-install routine, LEX2I08E and LEX2I08P, will deliver a patch
         installation mail message to local users that hold the XUMGR, XUPROG,
         or XUPROGMODE security key.
