GENERAL INFORMATION a) Print all notes/readme files. b) It is recommended that the terminal output during the installation be captured using an auxport printer attached to the terminal at which you are performing the software installation. This will insure a printed audit trail if any problems should arise. Here's a description of the modifications included in this patch. ENHANCEMENT: CREATE VISIT AT CHECK-IN This patch has the TESTED version of the new "Create Visit at Check-in" enhancement. Visit Provider is required only if clinic's parameter is set to YES. Deleting the check-in time deletes the PCC visit as long as the visit hasn't been coded yet. Canceling of checked in appointments is NOT allowed. The check-in time must be deleted first. As in MAS patch 5, full details can be found under choice 3 in the Appointment Tutorial. Routines modified in this patch are ^ASDV, ^ASDI and SDCNP0. Description of enhancement from MAS patch 5: This patch adds a new function to the check-in system in RPMS Scheduling. If you turn on the appropriate parameters for a clinic, a PCC visit will be created at check-in. This will be required to use the new PCC Encounter Form. This new function allows tracking incomplete visits and their associated PCC forms. A PCC error report under the VRR (View Review Report) menu is designed to assist you. It is called Scheduling Check-In Created Visits Not Yet Coded (CINC). For details on this new visit creation process and how to set up your clinics to use it, please read the Appointment Tutorial on the Appointment Menu in Scheduling. Choose 3 for the "Check-in Patients for Scheduled Appointments" section. This enhancement includes routines ASDI, ASDV, SDI, ASDP5E, ASDP5POS. Input templates ASDB and ASDVST have been modified. Four new fields in the Hospital Location file, a new security key SDZPCC and help frames are included. 2.
