INSTALLATION NOTES FOR MAS PATCH 8 ========================================================================== PREFIX: MAS*, DG*, DPT*, SD*, ADG*, VA*, OR*, ASD* CURRENT VERSION: 5.0 PATCH 8 ========================================================================== **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** ************************************************************************** * READ THE ENTIRE NOTES FILE PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING ANY INSTALLATION !!! * ************************************************************************** **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** NOTE **** 1. GENERAL INFORMATION This patch is cumulative of all previous patches: MAS patches #1 - #7!! If your site is using PCC+ v1.2 (linking Scheduling to PCC), you will need to run "Create Scheduling Package Link" in PCC+ to reestablish the link once you have finished this patch install. a) Print all notes/readme files. b) It is recommended that the terminal output during the installation be captured using an auxport printer attached to the terminal at which you are performing the software installation. This will insure a printed audit trail if any problems should arise. c) Here's a description of the twelve (12) modifications or changes included in this patch. *** 2 Cache' related changes: One routine (^ADGRB0) has been changed to correctly handle parameter passing. The second change corrects four (4) other routines (^SDNOS2, ^ASDOI, ^ASDROUT0 and ^ADGAD1) which have been modified to meet the syntax standards imposed by the Cache' environment. *** 3 Scheduling changes: The first change deals with a commonly misunderstood line in the address block of the pre-appointment letter. If "Sr." or "Jr." are applicable, they are now printed on the line with the patient name in the pre-appointment letter. The second change deals with the Clinic Stop file (#40.7). This fix deals with two separate, but related issues - reporting 'CODE' errors on reports and proper 'CODE' lookups. These changes were made to correctly handle the 'CODE' field (#1), which is now an alpha-numeric field. The third change corrects an incorrect display of the next available appointment day for clinics under a principal clinic. This problem only occurs for subordinates to a principal clinic, which have 20 min. slots and staggered (not on the hour or half hour) canceled slots (i.e. 08:40 - 09:20 canceled). *** 2 SAC compliancy issues in prior patches: Routines, ASDP7E, and ASDP7POS have been modified to meet SAC compliancy issues overlooked in previous Patch releases. 2.
