Provider Education

Male physician reading.

The Telebehavioral Health Center of Excellence (TBHCE) is committed to expanding patient's access to care via free provider education. As IHS, Tribal, and Urban providers learn and master new skills, more services can be provided locally. Additionally, we understand the difficulty of obtaining Continuing Education from rural and remote sites, so we offer training opportunities via webinar, hosted via Adobe Connect. The Adobe Connect platform allows us to easily connect with providers in low bandwidth areas, even via mobile devices.

We currently offer these free Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits:

  • American Medication Association — Class 1 CME
  • American Psychological Association
  • Counseling CEU — from New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Board
  • Pharmacy
  • Nursing (pending)
  • Social Work (pending)

Current Telebehavioral Health Center of Excellence webinars are listed on the Seminars page.
