This is undesirable since it add much heavy cart traffic to corridors. Lessons Learned: should be avoided. Supplies are difficult to receive and the maintenance section including boiler room operations remain intermixed with other facility departments which is not ideal. Recommended Action: Future facilities should follow these basic guidelines and adjacies when developing designs. Central supply should be adjacent to the loading dock.
