Subject: ACORN Funding Restrictions

Please be advised of the following regarding ACORN, the U.S. Court of appeals for the Second Circuit - in the following hot-link: http://caselaw.findlaw.com/us-2nd-circuit/1534979.html decision indicates that restrictions on funding ACORN are to be considered to be in full force and effect pending further litigation.

Please be further advised that all HHS grant and contracting officers have been instructed by the Office of Grants and Acquisitions Policy and Accountability to advise grantees and contractors (respectively) that funding prohibitions regarding ACORN and related entities remain in effect pending further proceedings as to ACORN's First Amendment and due process claims.
