2010 Catalog: All Courses

The purpose of this training is for dentists working in California Tribal/Urban dental clinics to obtain knowledge on emerging new techniques and skills to perform mini implants on their patients. The course will include clinical data analysis/productivity improvement, personnel training, and problem solving.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

1. Perform surgical placement of narrow diameter implants in a live patient.
2. Retrofit the patient’s existing denture to the implants.
3. Perform final impressions and occlusal records for a patient who already has narrow diameter
implants.
4. Observe multiple procedures involving surgical and prosthetic variations.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
