DE0002: Dental Data System Package
Many individuals in IHS, Tribal and Urban [I/T/U] clinics are responsible for data entry and retrieval in the RPMS system. The Dental Data System [DDS] package is just one of many packages in the system. The DDS package has some features that are shared by most of the RPMS packages, and some features that are unique to DDS. This is courses will teach skills needed to navigate the DDS package, enter and retrieve data, and conduct searches. The course is not intended for users of the EDR. Data entered into the EDR will flow into PCC but not DDS. Therefore data entered in to the EDR can be retrieved from any package that communicates with PCC such as VGEN or QMAN.
This course will be done over a four week period and is completely online. Each participant will use local information.
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Navigate the DDS package.
2. Enter dental services in the DDS package.
3. Correct or delete dental services, codes or visits.
4. Run productivity reports for dentists and hygienists.
